Livestreaming Platform Design in Sports

This client wanted a modern, catchy and warm design - like you’re sitting in your living room watching sports on television added with your favorite commentator that’s on your choice.

A overall compact design & wireframing that provide necessary information.

My Contribution

I was responsible for the entire UX/UI design concept and the associated prototype development. After analyzing crucial features and researching the target group and its demands, I created the whole flow of the customer journey. Specifically my contribution contaied:

- Comprehensive video previews for a faster and more goal-oriented navigation

- Highlighted details to catch necessary information at first sight and help browsing be more efficient

- A warm but also contrast-rich design that enhances comfort and ensures a longer duration time

Software Optimisation for better Usability

Through some conversations with the chief executive we defined features to optimise the existing software on a web design frame. Overall the mission was to get a more unique software for every needs and to improve the usability.

More and more areas were highlighted to distinguish usable options. To improve the research of ressources, especially on smaller devices or displays where everything is more compressed, I designed a search bar that causes fewer interruptions during use.

A simple reconstruction of the existing software plus first features that were added like appointments that can be displayed on a specific date and a simple overview of available ressources to plan with.

Columns and rows were more marked in categories to provide information more efficient. This also meant to create sub rows that display different types of appointments better. On top of that indicators of not available and available ressources were created to identify opportunities for the planning directly.

My Contribution

Regarding to the requirements I constructed new features that align to the mission. I gradually and constantly moved forward by adding important elements. Particularly this include:

- Easy addable appointments to a specific date and time to ensure a smooth planning

- A comprehensive overview of available vehicles and staff to categorise responsibilities using drag and drop

- Highlighted areas to distinguish between disabled and available call-to-actions for a better user experience

Adjusting Design Through Targeting

Hereby I worked closely with a family member of mine. He wanted to run a local business by selling sweets via a vending machine. He went through the whole progess to begin. Due to the actual start he had no idea how to attract customers with brochures. His first samples didn’t adress the real target group.
